I meant to post this yesterday but I just went from one thing to the other and never had a chance.
For Sunday Funday, I decided to do a small arts and crafts project with my son. This was the first time we worked on a crafts project together. I felt that since he's almost two and easily follows commands, we would be able to get through this one tantrum free :)
Autumn/Fall is one of my favorite seasons so I picked Pumpkin Painting as our project in honor of this. We visited our local supermarket for the pumpkin and Walmart for the art supplies.
We started by wrapping his table in newspaper. We used scotch tape to hold down the edges. Noah was so happy to help!
He was really excited to get started. The top left picture is a shot of the supplies I bought. Doesn't he look handsome in his smock?! :)
Once I opened up his paints, he quickly grabbed his brush and began his masterpiece. When I explained that the water was to clean the brush between colors, he was eager to clean it himself.
He decided to be "hands-on" and mixed all the colors together with his little hands :) so cute!
Once his masterpiece was finished, I asked for his help to clean up. He was a very good boy about it and helped to put the brushes in the sink, and move the table back to it's place. Look at that handsome face!
Noah's Masterpiece. I love my little Picasso :)
This was a fun, easy and inexpensive arts and crafts project. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to try it with their litte ones. It was also perfect for a rainy day, which it was! Hope you all enjoyed this post. I want to dedicate my Sunday Funday posts to family and friends<3
