Lazy Work Outfit: Boho Chic

Some days, I just don't feel like it. I don't want to dress up, I don't want to do my hair and I'd prefer to stay in bed. However, duty calls and I have to just figure it out. I cannot show up at my office looking a mess and I do not wear jeans M-Thrs: SO on days like this I find a cute or doable dress, a cozy cardigan, some heels (let's face it - they dress up any outfit), and versatile accessories.

At least I did my make up =) I should do a tutorial on quick everyday make up cause' I'm pretty good at that.

What do you guys wear to work on lazy days?

*Dress: Ross
*Cardigan: Target (last season)
*Belt: Ross (came with a dress)

Random Babble & Wedding Invites DIY

I feel like it has been forever since the last time I blogged. Makes me sad cause I really want to do this frequently. Not to make excuses for myself but wedding planning is really taking a toll on me. We only have a little less than two months to go and things become crazier and crazier!

Even though I have loved being involved in every single aspect of planning our big day, if I could go back in time I would hire a wedding planner :). But enough complaining. I actually have something special I want to share.

Christian and I handmade our own invitations. They honestly came out exactly how we imagined and we couldn't be happier. I feel so proud to say each and every single piece of the invitation package was designed and crafted by us. Now, this was a long, frustrating and tedious project but it's incredibly rewarding. I'm only going to show you a little preview until they have all been delivered. Once that's done, I will do a full step-by-step post.

Until then =)

Sunday Funday! Mommy & Me Craft Time

I meant to post this yesterday but I just went from one thing to the other and never had a chance.

For Sunday Funday, I decided to do a small arts and crafts project with my son. This was the first time we worked on a crafts project together. I felt that since he's almost two and easily follows commands, we would be able to get through this one tantrum free :)

Autumn/Fall is one of my favorite seasons so I picked Pumpkin Painting as our project in honor of this. We visited our local supermarket for the pumpkin and Walmart for the art supplies.

We started by wrapping his table in newspaper. We used scotch tape to hold down the edges. Noah was so happy to help!
He was really excited to get started. The top left picture is a shot of the supplies I bought. Doesn't he look handsome in his smock?! :)
Once I opened up his paints, he quickly grabbed his brush and began his masterpiece. When I explained that the water was to clean the brush between colors, he was eager to clean it himself.
He decided to be "hands-on" and mixed all the colors together with his little hands :) so cute!
Once his masterpiece was finished, I asked for his help to clean up. He was a very good boy about it and helped to put the brushes in the sink, and move the table back to it's place. Look at that handsome face!
Noah's Masterpiece. I love my little Picasso :)

This was a fun, easy and inexpensive arts and crafts project. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to try it with their litte ones. It was also perfect for a rainy day, which it was! Hope you all enjoyed this post. I want to dedicate my Sunday Funday posts to family and friends<3

Happy Fashion Friday!

A couple of days ago, it was kinda gloomy in South Florida. When this happens, I try to brighten up my day through my outfit. Everyone around me is usually in a "mood" so I like to think that my *pop* of color brightens up their day too.

This is what I wore:
How fab are these yellow pumps? They were such a steal too! only $8.88 can you believe that? Of course, at that price, I bought these in every color/print available =)
My bestie gave me this neat Alice in Wonderland printed laptop bag. It being the theme to my wedding and all, I love it! She knows me too well ;)

Dress: Forever 21
Blazer: Forever 21
Necklace: Banana Republic
Shoes: Fashion Footwear - Delray Beach ;)
Laptop Bag: Etsy (I'll come back & link the shop)

Hope you guys enjoyed this post. Don't forget to follow the blog and I hope you all have a lovely weekend!!

Welcome♥ + Work OOTD: Copper-tone

My first post. I'm super excited for my baby! (the blog). Hope you guys find it entertaining and somewhat inspirational. I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with it, I'm just keeping it relevant to my life and lighthearted. **Absolutely no hatin' allowed** This is a place for people with pretty hearts ONLY.

Quick bio:
I'm 24, born in the Dominican Republic and presently residing in Sunny South Florida. I'm a proud momma to a super cute 1.6 year old =) His name is Noah and he's awesome! I'm married but I'm currently planning my actual wedding set for January 14, 2012, to the beat of Vintage Alice in Wonderland. That's how I became inspired to blog. In an effort to save money for my big day, I started doing a lot of beauty related things myself, shopping a lot of sales, and becoming a full fledge budgetnista! I plan to share with you all what I've learned along the way. I also hope this blog will allow me to meet other girls like me: I work a full time job, run a household, and keep up with two boys (my hubby and baby) all with high-heels on and lipstick. Fashion and Beauty are my favorite pass-times, they allow me to experiment and express myself in ways words can't even describe. I love all things lovely :) SO... since I clearly love to ramble, I also started a YouTube channel to accompany my blog. I plan to use that for the occasional rant and to share things I've bought or looks I wear. Who knows! my life is frenzied, full of a variety of things and that will be reflected.

Lets get to it. I do work an office job, therefore, the majority of my outfit posts will be career minded. Today, I chose to embrace Fall in my own way, through color. Chances are I won't see a bit of Fall here in South Florida so I celebrate it however I can.

I do take my pics on location, my office! I hope you guys enjoy the background and props :) Sorry about the crappy lighting. I'll need to work on that.
